What is life for the young people?

Living a life in this cruel world will not be so easy most especially for the young people in this generation. Why??? Lots of temptations, vices, and peers surround us that might influence us to do things that are not supposed to be done at our age.

"Enjoy life while young! " - This is the motto maybe by most of the young people today who are in the process of exploring life. It sounds interesting, but how can a person, a young people really enjoy life? If this can be attained through having wealth, good face, relationship, many friends, etc., then why there were still young people committing suicides though they all have these? Aren’t they satisfied? Maybe they don’t really understand the meaning of enjoying life.

I’m 22 right now and will turn 23 next year. At this age, I can honestly say that I’m enjoying life not because I have all that mentioned above but because I’m contented with what the Lord is giving to me. I thank God for everything that makes my life enjoyable. I’m not that rich, handsome person but since I put my trust in the Lord and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior, contentment followed.

I am in the youth/music ministry in our church and I’m enjoying my fellowship with the Lord.  I love singing love songs to Him for He is the one who taught me how to sing. I may not have things to boast because all the things I have right now came from God. One thing that I am sure of right now, living a life is more fantastic when you allow God be the center of it. You would really enjoy life to the fullest without any having a second thought. knowing JESUS is the best thing that has happened to me.
